Major League
Major League is playscheme at full volume. Children aged 8 to 11 get a packed week — a trip out most days, the big on-site events, and a site full of things to do in between.
How Major League works
Children are placed into groups — Phoenix, Broncos, Dragons, Vikings and Panthers — each led by an experienced team leader with a team of trained volunteers. Groups stay together all week, for every trip and every event.
On site
Between trips, Major League has the run of the site: the sports and games field, the arts and crafts marquee, the daily Big Show, the Wednesday Carnival — and the All Star Challenge, where groups go head-to-head.
Trips out
The coaches roll most mornings. A typical Major League week includes days out like:
- Swimming
- TenPin bowling
- Ice skating
- Roller skating
- The cinema
- The Science Museum
- The Party Barge
Everything on this page is included in the weekly fee — trips, transport and all on-site activities. There is nothing extra to pay during the week.
